COURSE DESCRIPTION: Our sixty-hour pre-licensure course is designed to fully comply with the Alabama Real Estate Commission's requirements. The information and materials available to you in our course will provide you with all the tools you need to prepare to take the state real estate exam. We also believe our course will give you valuable insight into how to be a successful and productive agent.

COURSE OBJECTIVE: To enable the student to demonstrate a basic knowledge of Alabama real estate law, principles and practices; demonstrate a basic knowledge of real estate terms; and recognize and understand the importance of documents used in real estate practice.

COURSE CREDIT HOURS: 60 clock hours offered in twenty sessions over ten weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays. An official certificate of completion will be awarded after 60 hours of class attendance and upon successfully passing the course quizzes and course exam with a grade of 70 or better.

INSTRUCTION METHOD: Lecture, Case Studies, Guest Lecturer Presentations and Group Discussion. Two study texts plus handouts and quizzes will be provided.

CLASS DURATION: Classes will start promptly at 5:30 PM and continue until 8:30 PM with three 10-minute breaks during each class. Attendance for the full class period is mandatory. Any class time and topics missed must be made up before a certificate can be entered.
